Layered protection of IT infrastructure today will not surprise anyone. There are new generation firewalls that protect the perimeter, solutions for detecting and neutralizing threats on workstations, “sandbox”, where malicious code finds its interior in a secure isolated environment. But practice shows that all these tools do not give a 100% guarantee against burglary, especially against a targeted attack.
One of the successful ways to fight is to deceive the attackers. Traps force them to show themselves, thus providing early warning of the attack and the visibility of malware on the network. 😎
