Tasks
SI BIS was tasked with supply and commissioning of a computing complex for B2 core banking system, and data storage network arrangement.
Problems
Alfa-Bank faced needed a computing complex for its B2 core banking system, as well as a data storage network.
Criteria
The system was based on IBM System p and IBM Power application servers and IBM Power 595 enterprise servers, as well as a DS4000 data storage and a backup system.
The project also involved stress testing of the core banking system and other bank software running on the IBM pSeries p570 Unix server.
At the final phase of the project, the bank employees underwent training on basic administration of AIX (a commercial Unix system) at SI BIS Training Center.
