Compared to Hitachi USP VM, the new HDS VSP system had a quadrupled controller cache size (256 GB), which, in combination with the system’s functionality and overall large number of disks, provided a performance boost.

Thus, Hitachi USP V storage platform capacities have been extended and brought in line with the current requirements of the bank. The new systems can be further scaled as the bank’s requirements rise.
