SI BIS took part in the First in Eastern Europe Forum Industry 4.0, which took place on November 22 at the CEC “Parkovy”. The Forum dealt with the state of industrialization in Ukraine, state support for the transformation and digitalization of enterprises, and cases of successful domestic businesses were presented. Well-known companies and government agencies took part in the forum: Unit, Sсhneider, Interpipe, Ukrnafta, Ukreximbank, CodEUrope, IT-Enterprise, SI BIS and many others.
Oleg Shcherbatenko (IT-Enterprise) shared his predictions about the opportunities and risks that the fourth industrial revolution will bring us.
Andrzej Soldaty from the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology (Poland) shared interesting observations about the more productive contact of all enterprises that have implemented Industry 4.0 standards, and their leading position in the markets as a result of implementation.
Janique Fourastier (CodEUrope, France) cited several cases implemented on the French railway, which have the right to life in our country.
Alexander Kardakov (Octava Capital, Ukraine) told the public about the situation with cybersecurity in our country and the difficulties with understanding the need to implement such projects in Ukraine.
Farid Safarov, a representative of the Ministry of Infrastructure, called on Ukrainian IT companies to take part in the development of preventive road safety systems. Farid Safarov recalled that since 2016 the Road Fund has been operating in Ukraine, which is formed from excise duty on fuel. According to him, 5% of this fund goes to creating conditions for safe movement, and this is billions of hryvnias. “We invite all Ukrainian IT integrators to offer their own solutions. And we will choose vendors who implement these solutions in a transparent manner, ”said Farid Safarov, answering a question posed by Igor Kirushko, representative of SI BIS, during a panel discussion.
In general, the forum was attended by more than 600 innovative enterprises and they all came to the same conclusion: either companies invest in infrastructure development and move to new business standards, or competitors go ahead and leave them behind, which will make the business uncompetitive.
